Description:
Housed in the Palais Eskeles, this museum features a study center, archives, a large library and three floors of exhibition space that document the important role Jews played in the financial, intellectual and cultural development of Europe. An interesting holographic display on the first floor features large glass panels whose contents include images of a medieval matzo bakery, conductor Gustav Mahler, and Nazi violence. The images can be seen only if viewed from the correct angle.
