Displays include a widow's mourning attire; lanterns, staffs and liveries used by 17th century pall-bearers; a coffin with a bell in the event someone was mistakenly buried alive and re-awakened; and an economy coffin with a trapdoor so that the deceased could be dropped into the grave and the coffin recycled.
